Other festive games

All on except us and Wolves which is tomorrow. Feels odd not to be playing today, a bit like being on Monday night on seasons opening weekend.

Come on Leicester

Agree here - the only team that has less preparation time between the two festive fixtures is Wolves. Guess who they play in that 2nd game .

I was just catching up on Match of the Day from a few weeks back. The Merseyside derby was one of the matches. Robertson, TAA and Van Dijk could and probably should all have been sent off and Van Dijk gave away two blatant penalties the second of which Liverpool ended up scoring from. There is no way they won't be allowed to win the league this season. As you say, anything that can be done to give them an advantage is being done.

If you wanted a Dipper title then you couldn’t have scheduled it any better. There next 3 are the exact same teams that we have/had but in their case they get the advantage of us going against them first, which will almost certainly lead to Leicester, Wolves and Sheffield United having greater fatigue when going to play them. Then factor in where those teams will put maximum effort.

They shouldn’t even need this type of advantage with all the favourable officiating decisions they are getting.

All the more enjoyable when they fall flat on their faces then.

I only want them to not reach our centurion record.

first time I've watched the RAGs play other than against City - do they normally play this slowly?

Go on Newcastle - RAG defence with more holes in it than Trump's foreign policy.
