We didn't match Arsenal's work rate. Their high press was similar to what ours has been for the last two seasons. They stopped the counter attack before it started. Scoring first as well obviously helps.

Players slipping and the opposition scoring seems to be a common thing at Klanfield .

I wonder if their doping will ever be pointed out and discovered.

We need to get back to the level of the last two seasons. The reality is that we're the only team to have beaten them in 59 league games. They are on an upward curve and are improving by the season. If we don't put a spanner in the works i can't see anyone else stopping them for the foreseeable.

Just seen a clip of Rooney’s debut for Derby, by god he is fat, he makes Bob Taylor look anorexic.

Watched the game, they had Sheffield on toast. Very different game from when Sheffield played us, nothing of the long balls down the line but have to put it down to them being knackered.

Liverpool looked like Champions, only they can blow it.

BinDipping cunts.

Pure co-incidence that our last three opponents have faced the dippers next game after playing us. We soften them up and the dippers get the advantage. It's also fell right for them with the cup draw. Everton after they've played us. What good fortune they're having.

He'll look like the Michelin man when he stops playing.

This is probably one of the most overlooked oddities if this season. We play the same opponents as Liverpool over the busiest period of the season but we play them first every time. Then our fourth opponents get drawn against them in the FA cup. And they even have the cheek to give Liverpool the longest rest periods over this period. And us and Wolves, one of the opponents, the shortest. You would be screaming match-fixing if it was happening in Italy so why is none of the media shouting about it here.

Mentioned this myself before the wolves game. Only wolves had less rest than us before their second festive game against..... ? Then Sheff utd come to us before going to liverpool? That is some coincidence but as you say, it must be ok as nothing has been said in the press. Liverpool's title to lose but it will be tainted as far as most are concerned - scousers apart

Their Premier League win will be like the kid who gets a gold medal at sports day for making a good effort in some events and having a good attendance record.

What's the rule now if you take down a player inside the box, as the last defender?
Didn't they change it and they can't give both? Just penner and yellow instead of red?

Watching Birmingham vs Rovers and this happens and I would swear something similar happend with us and the opposite defender got only yellow.

If you make an attempt at a tackle and mistime it then you only get a yellow but if you pull or push or just take the player out then it is still a red card as well as a penalty.

What's the news? Is Everton going to show up today or they are not interested to face another VAR travesty.

Looking at red scouse team, Everton should fancy this
