A wins a win. But that was harder than it needed to be. But three points was deserved.

Played well. Shouldn't have conceded but that's always going to be the worry el Joker in goal.

Gundo very good. Foden and Garcia decent. Played really well and had Sterling and Serg on the bench!

Think this is only the second full game he's played, the other being against Villa, in which he was really good.

Cancelo looked very good today. So did the whole back five apart from that huge fuck up from Bravo and Kevin(?). And of course we went into a bit of a panic mode for ten minutes after that.

A very good performance slightly soured by bloody Bravo. 3 very satisfactory points but we were coasting to victory. Bring on Port Vale. I wonder what team Pep will play.

Should NEVER have been that tight.
Peps folly BRAVO nearly fucked it up for us yet again. I’d rather have big Joe as our reserve keeper, and it would free up a foreign player space in the squad.

Good win. We were in control but for Bravo.

Cancelo and Mendy both played very well. Great for Foden and Garcia to get more game time - both had very good games.

Very good performance up to Bravos cameo at 70 mins. Then we stuttered a bit.
Garcia very impressive for a 19 year old.
The back 3 has worked very well last game and a half. We look more solid with it.

I know we won, but fuck me the officials tried their best to ruin it for us. Horrible refereeing.

I can't remember the last time we witnessed a good performance by a ref

Good performance from a bit of a mixed bag team. Hope he keeps Garcia in there for Port Vale God knows what Pep will do against the red shite but his port vale team will tell us that? Mention for Gundo today, never his biggest fan but he kept things simple and ticking over so fair play

No no Garcia and Foden can't play, they're not ready for the league like some suggested.

I hope he continues to play Garcia regularly, we could have some player. He reminds me of Canavaro, short, slow but my god he can read the game and turned out to be one of the best defenders of our generation. Ironically Canavaro made his debut at 17.

Sure about that?

What on earth do you mean ? do you understand football ? Foden is attempting to shoot at goal, as the replay clearly showed and the defender blocked his foot , he did not attempt to play the ball. A clearer penalty , you will never see. As Slim pointed out to another remark, Foden didn't kick anyone he is shooting at goal. complete rubbish being peddled about here. A 100 percent penalty- Remember , you can never have 1000%.

Next time Bravo is in goal, can we just draw the little curtains around him and tell folk he fell in the Grand National?
