Just reading that we have won 6 of the past 9 games at the swamp which is one more than we managed in the previous 39! How times change

Glory hunters don’t tend to show their mettle when the chips are down, especially when they can revert to watching in the luxury of a closed room where they can scream and cry like a spoilt child if it doesn’t go right.

Was with a Rag when the draw was made and he was asking for anybody but City. When grown he stated that he wasn’t going and that he might not even watch. Says it all really.

Not so long ago they could rely on a 2nd set of fans to fill the ground for the league cup, now they struggle to fill it with the die-hard. It does show how they have fallen but also how fickle the glory hunters are. There are a lot of them not looking to go to see them get turned over. I love this having had to watch them win pot after pot and get all the breaks. It's our turn now you cnuts, suck it up and take it on the chin like big boys and girls. City, City, nobody knows your name doesn't get many airings these days

Read that the rags are implementing measures to try and avoid selling tickets to City fans in the home sections. Presumably if your postcode begins with a M you can’t come in

To be fair, he said it about Madrid as well. Basically he wouldn't manage a team of his rivals.

It's because the words "I'd rather.." never came out of his mouth. The media have twisted it to make a headline..

“After training City I will never train them; I would not train [Real] Madrid [after Barcelona]. I’d be in the Maldives if I don’t have any offers. Maybe not the Maldives because it doesn’t have any golf courses.”

I have been to Kuredu island resort Maldives twice and it has a 9 hole golf course , also been to Komandoo island resort Maldives , adults only there and no golf course . There is an island opposite Komandoo where it is around 15K a week to stay in pure luxury , only millionaires and footballers stay there . Bet Pep has stayed there and got the 1st class VIP boat to Kuredu for a round of golf ? 8-)

Footballers can only "holiday" june/july which is rainy season in the Maldives ! It only rains for around 20 mins a day in the rainy season if your unlucky to get a passing rain cloud . The tropical heat soon dries up any moisture , consider yourself educated !
