Agree, however the issues he has when we are playing the criminals and the rags were there even in the last two season when he was excellent.
Don't think a break can help in that.
Maybe, maybe not. But thats only 4 games a season. Getting him back to his best will help in all the others. Law of averages says he will get a goal v the rags/dippers soon enough

When we are in full flight and playing slick attacking football, he benefits as he is very good at finding space and drifting into the right space but when the games aren't flowing as easy for us he sticks out like a sore thumb as he is the least technical of our front players.
His control is shocking, his passing is never adventurous - just safe. His finishing is disgraceful. He can't beat a man. He never turns up in the big games and never has for us. Yet somehow he thinks he deserves to be the highest paid player in our history

He needs support on and off the pitch from the fans. Groaning and moaning clearly doesn’t do this kind of player any good. It only makes sense to encourage him.

Not moaning and groaning just keeps him in a comfort bubble and does no good either - I thin the fans have been pretty much supportive considering sterling has been average to SHIT for months now.
He needs dropping - if Sterling was playing in a team that is nowhere near as good as us then he would have been dropped fucking months ago ...he gets away with murder.

Look, every players goes through times when things just aren't working .
If you win 3-0 instead of 6-0 , you still win .
It only really becomes a problem when you continually lose .
Now, if his head has gone fcuk him off to Madrid for 150 mill.
No one is bigger than the club.
i'll just bump this with - Or DRAW.

Dunno of he does but I've never understood confidence with cocky footballers.
Sterling acts over confident in some ways but clearly shits it on the pitch when he has to think.
I think it was Anelka that loved himself but didnt have confidence in one on ones.

I thought he was our best player at Anfield. Should've had a penalty, not for the first time there either.

It doesn't work for him down the left for a start. His forms gone and so appears his confidence in front of goal. Cannot control the ball first time and runs into too much traffic. He'll come back but needs to either be shifted to the right or be benched.
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

Winks is not an upgrade on Foden and Zaha? Jesus, no thanks there is a reason he is still at palace let the London clubs fight over him and force his price up between them.
Far better ways of blowing the cash if Sterlung was to go

The reason he is still at Palace is because of Palace refusing to sell him.Zaha always wanted to remain in London, if possible ,as he is a very devout family man and prefers not to uproot away from his mother etc.
Anyway , there's no way we would ever sell Sterling unless he turned to even more shit for the rest of the season and even then.................

As I stated in the match thread - his scoring stats mask over his average to shit footballing displays since September - I think its got to his head.
We should flog him before we give him an alleged fuckign stupid payrise and before his over priced fuckign value plummets.

just get rid. his unholy wages will make it hard but maybe we can get 50M for him simply by virtue of being young and english and scoring a few goals.

Maybe if Pep does want to make him untouchable he can play Sterling in his correct position?

Mase - if he can’t get pass a player with the ball then it won’t matter what position he plays in.

I agree he's been shite this season. But on the right with Sanè on the left it wasn't an issue. But he needs to have that convo with Pep.
