Just looked at the guy's stats now. He's 22, and has 2 seasons left on his contract after this one, this being his fifth season with us. He played a total of 23 minutes in the Prem for Norwich during the first half of the season, and has only played a handful of games in the past 3 years (4 months out due to injury did contribute to this, however).

Do we get rid in the summer, and will we recoup any of the alleged £12 million we paid for him?

He cannot have a future with us seeing as we have never given him the opportunity at ours? 3 years+ will have as good as wiped they feef rom our books and so anything that we did get for him would be a bonus. He was highly thought of at the time so never got why we didn't take a look at him

He couldn't even get a minute on the pitch for Norwich this season so he can't be pulling up any trees in training.

Scored against us in the Champions League when we loaded him to Celtic.

Think that was also the run of games where we played in three of the four home countries - away at Swansea, spurs and then celtic. Defo away at spurs the game before celtic in one of Bravo's spectacular show of fuck-ups

Clichy. If Kolarov was playing we'd have won.

Edit: Just looked at the lineup from that night. Wow. Absolutely awful!! And it was only 2016.

Doubt we will have paid the reported £12M. Not even close. It’s likely to be somewhere in the region of £5/6m with the rest as add ons for appearances, goals and trophies won etc. So nothing else to add on. Coupled with the loan fees we have had over his time with us, a selling fee of something close to £3M will see us all in likelihood, break even, and possibly even turn a small profit!

Never ever gonna make it with us and I doubt he would be good enough even at a lower level PL club. The championship or Scotland is his level. Hope he does well at Boro and they sign him

That was my understanding as well. I believe Celtic paid £2m for his second loan spell so it's likely we will at least break even on him.

He had a good first season at Celtic but wasn't up to much on his second spell. I hope he finds a club where he can find some stability and crack on with his career. There was a good player in there somewhere.

was surprised to see a figure of £12M. I thought at the time that it was reported as being around £9M. I'd agree the £12M is probably including all add-ons, but I'm guessing the fee actually paid would be a fair bit more than 5 or 6...
