Great win for the blues , stood up to some shit there !
Defence much better with Laporte back .
Fuck VAR .

They were very much Dirty Bastards, some of those tackles were disgraceful.

Interesting how the commentators praised SU for taking one for the team but took 5 minutes to explain it rather than telling us they were tactical fouls.

Chinese commentary on mine talk much more sense

I tried BEIN but they were far to passionate.for me tonight. Switched to BT and really enjoyed the Devon/Cornish bloke, a breath of fresh air.

I use a mint river , all in lovely Chinese . No knobhead pundits just lovely football and city .
Not really here

Pep says he will review penalty takers. Says Ederson is the best in the Club.

I’m sure we beat them when they last made the PL and definitely beat them during the good old days whilst yo-yo’ing through the leagues.

I used to take a Shef fan back in those days, didn’t matter which games. He loved it and has a real soft spot for us.

I must admit, I’m lucky enough to be able to pay for quality channels but due to the cunts on there have binned the subscriptions and, due to a good lad on here, switched to another provider that’s less than an 8th of the cost per year.

Nice win but that's a 100-1 shot at least. Ridiculously low odds.

Oh I'd worked out the 40-1, don't doubt you, but the odds seem far too low.

Not really , he was a bit unlucky .

20/30 seconds before the half is out, he should know better as there was no immediate danger. Yes he won the header but if you lean in with your arm you should know the opposing player is gonna make a meal of it and buy the foul

if you say so.

Did not see any of the game, sounds like hard fought win, clean sheet is good, what’s the consensus on Laporte? Also Mahrez?

Lucky bastard

Laporte is back. Knackered obviously though

Mahrez - well he won a penalty which should have set us on our way.

Sterling was beyond terrible yet with flashes of brilliance at times like near the end when he ran through 3 people and then missed - again!!!

For me, a difficult game but one that was well deserved. I think what we’ve been seeing lately is how the Tony Pulis type of football is back working in the PL. Not just the likes of SU tonight but also for the PL leaders. Liverpool play exactly the same way with a 7 man defence but then lobbing it to pacey forwards. And it works.

The difference being that both Liverpool and Sheffield have the quality to occasionally play their way out of a high press and hurt is on the counter.

Stoke only had one way to beat us, so we're easier to defend against.

Just watched the highlights.

You could see how far off his line Henderson was without the need of VAR. Fuckin embarrassing.

Mahrez is probably our best player along with Kev at the moment.

Otter is our best player at overhead kicks.

Sterling needs some time on the bench.

Aguero - I <3 you

With 10 minutes to go he put on a bet, part of which was Aguero to score. Hadn't he already scored by that point?

So you hate VAR but you want it to be responsible for more areas of the game?

Or perhaps he wants it to be used to eradicate clear and obvious errors, the very reason there was a clamour for it's implementation in the first place.
