Since you’ve been watching City what’s the worse City line up you can make playing people in their natural positions. Ie left back with Darius Vassell making an emergency sub appearance at left back does not count.
And who is your worse City manager to manage this outfit.

Alan Ball and Frank Clark can be joint managers.
Nigel Clough can captain whatever team is picked.

I know that Alan Ball was dreadful, and I know he was responsible for Buster Phillips, but he brought us Kinky. I can't forgive Stuart Pearce for the shit he put me through while he was in charge though.

Alan Ball made Stuart Pearce look like Pep. Worst manager we ever had. Swapped Paul Walsh with Gerry Creaney. Lost 6-0 at Liverpool and said he enjoyed it.

John Bond was City manager when I first started following. Ball is easily the worst.

Have people forgot about Coppell? Just the fact he fucked off after a month means he has to be in contention

Again we agree.
Anyone that says we've had a worse manager than Ball didn't have to sit there watching the shite we played, the crap players he brought in, and then have to go in to school on a Monday surrounded by red bastards taking the piss.
Walsh was my first ever favourite City player as a kid. Ball just gave him away, like you say, for Gerry fuckin Creaney!!!!
Pearce was bad, but he didn't get us relegated and enjoy doing it in the process.

When you put it like that it's hard to disagree

Gerry Creaney and Badbuy have to be the strike force and I use that phrase loosely.

As I started following City in the very early 80s most of the 83 and 87 teams who got relegated were worthy of inclusion. But it was a different time back, we literally had no money so it’s perhaps an unfair comparison.
But Graham Baker was poor. Kinsey as mentioned another. The likes of old ex rags like Mcllroy and Gidman brought nothing as we got them for nothing. Though I do think it’s a bit churlish to include home grown players in these type of lists as they are just living their dream and the stats will show most don’t make it in football. But they have been given a chance most probably because of circumstances like we had no other option so I don’t begrudge them being poor. Someone like Clough though? That reflects more on the manager who bought him

100% Francis Lee brought in Kinky, fuck all to do with AB. He just had to use him best - which he couldn't. Plan A was get the ball and pass it to Kinky. Plan B was get the ball and pass it to Kinky. Plan C.................
He even had him nominally on left midfield but just drifting as he wanted, so the team was totally unbalanced - though some of his goals were the best ever of course - was at the Southampton game - in fact I think we were at all his games, ever.
Anyway no shit team is ever complete without David Brightwell

That's him !
Turned out "we" signed him after watching a video . The fact his eyesight was terrible and he wore strong glasses when not playing only arose after we had signed him . Another reason we were totally shit back in the day signing blind as fuck foreign goalkeepers from videos without doing any real research or proper scouting you couldn't make it up !

Immel kept Tony Coton , who was a very decent keeper, out for a whole season
