Okay Guardiola has been told he has to purchase and then start either Rosler or Goater for the United League cup semi final.
Who should Pep pick and why?

Rosler scores 15 goals in one season in the top flight in 94-95.
Please name me the one season when Goater did that.

Yeah that's mad. The Goat was a legend. But Uwe's grandad bombed Old Trafford and that's all I need to know.

Rosler played in a better side than Goater. Pound for pound I’d rather Goater in my team. That’s not to say Rosler was a bad player, he was great for us. But Goater was infectious and his energy would rub off on the rest of the team and in a Pep side that counts for a lot

Goater played alongside Anelka ffs. He had Berkovic and Bernarbia. The side stayed up. Roslers side ended up being relegated.
Do you regard Niall Quinn better than Nicholas Anelka?

Goater would get about 400 goals a season in this team with half coming off his shin by accident. Imagine having a goat and sergio, wouldnt be beaten!
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As an individual player and all round forward Anelka is far superior to Quinn. But as a team player as part of eleven guys on the field I would give Quinn the edge. When the chips were down Anelka could go hiding. Le Sulk kind of encapsulates him.

Learn to read. As an individual Anelka is superior by far.

Depends who they had to replace. I'd have Goater alongside Sergio, but Rosler instead of Sergio.

Goater was well under rated. Everyone said he'd never do it in the Prem but he scored 2 against united at home, came on as sub when we were 1 down away and equalized with his 1st touch then had a winner ruled out in stoppage time. He also scored at Anfield.
Rosler was great as well though.

Both glimmers of light in absolutely shit times to be honest. If he had to choose between them he'd probably fuck off somewhere else!

Robbing the ball from Neville and scoring through Fab the Clown's legs at Maine Road was one of the best things I've seen as a City fan.
