EFL Semi-Final 2nd Leg | Pre-Match v Rags

Postby Beefymcfc » Mon Jan 27, 2020 10:39 pm

Still a lot to play for or is the 3-1 enough?

Hoping for a few more goals from Sergio but, in reality, would take us not losing.

Really this should be a complete non event, but we let them off the hook and such is life.
Just as long as they dont score first, it could get a bit messy on here

I am hoping for a ruthless performance against these rags, but I know it doesn’t work like that, so any win would do.

For some reason I’m thinking back to that game at the Swamp when Hughes was in charge.

3-1 should be enough. It would be catastrophic to not go through after being 3-0 up at half time at the swamp. But, football is a funny old game at times. However, in reality, we should tear these a new arsehole. Full strength ahead please and really put them to the sword.

Most still cannot lose the 'typical city's mindset. Today's reality is that utd are shite and we will be professional and put them away. Keep the cnuts in after the game and play all the wembley songs like they did with us at the swamp under Hughes

It's the hope that kills you. Cannot pretend that it never happened but Pep knows the cups are what are left for us and they will get an unpleasant surprise tomorrow when our team is announced. Expect us to go full strength bar a couple

Do you mean the 4-3 in the league (Hughes) or the cup semi (Mancini)?

Sterling to miss 13 open goals, RAGS to score 3 breakaways and we have 2 goals disallowed by VAR

No signings. Best players out injured. Got played off the park at home first leg. We are creating and scoring plenty at the moment, 102 goals and counting so far. The axe is looming over his shoulders.
Imagine Ole will be as nervous as a Chinese hypochondriac at his press conference

Yes it is, and the worse goalkeeper I have ever seen, well excluding Bravo obviously

If I was Ole I would play a team of kids and claim it’s the ‘Nited Way. Concentrate on the one trophy he could win if the draw favours him.

Whilst I share your sentiment, I remember similar remarks before the last league game, we were all giving it large. Well that didn’t end to well, so let’s not all get hard ons just yet, wait until we are 4-0 up at halftime :)
