Legia Warsaw's fans had a big statement a few years ago.

Smells like the tide is already turning to me... euphoria of the ban City brigade seems to have had a very short lifespan, bolt, shot. oh well back to empty head!

A lot of thoughtful support for City now emerging, which due to it's thought out nature will start to attract all the masses of fans that deep down really dislike UEFA.
City are and will become the standard bearer in the battle to come. i think we are all going to be quite surprised how much support sides with us.

Personally i'm already starting to see this whole thing more as a question of are UEFA going to survive this or not, rather than anything hurting City.

I just hope the club don't do let them off the hook and do some kind of deal. I will be really pissed with Khaldoon and the Shiek if we do.
If the club go for the jugular and don't let up then UEFA are fucked.

I think so too. After the initial gleeful shite pumped out by the usual suspects on Friday and Saturday, things seemed to have turned around to looking at UEFA.

One piece I was amazed by is this from would you believe, no other than Collymore. If you ignore the clickbait headline and the first two sentences, it's a total attack on UEFA, and the establishment clubs.

How hypothetical can we get with our case against UEFA. If for example, we were in negotiations to sign Messi on a 4 year deal and had a huge amount on worldwide sponsorship lined up based on this signing and Messi pulled out stating the risk of a lack of cl football. Then if we end up getting the case overturned, have we got a case against UEFA in relation to a loss of income.

Similarly if we had a deal in principle to sign a player for 50 mil this summer who pulls out and he goes on to become a star and is worth 200mill.

If The above does provide cause for a claim against UEFA and all we need to do is show intent and get on writing the reason why deals aren't going ahead, it could become very costly for UEFA

I can’t stand this stupid “financial doping” analogy - idiots online comparing it to players juicing
So Liverpool, Bayern and Real Madrid players can roid up so they stay good can they as they have the funds and history?

As this develops, the narrative is slowly shifting.

UEFA are under serious scrutiny and FFP is really beginning to stink the room out.

I wonder, given further time to stew, will that narrative change from one of outrage of City being allowed in the CL to City being excluded from it?

UEFA have now apparently opened up another investigation into our sponsorship deals from 2016 onwards. If that isn’t motive for the club to go for the throat I don’t know what is.!

They're not. They're looking into all club's accounts from 2016 an forward – it's standard procedure. But some fuckface journalist choose to twist that into some fantasy story about City being investigated.
