MotM v Real

Postby Beefymcfc » Wed Feb 26, 2020 10:02 pm

Got to be careful who you go for here, such an extraordinary win. A win at the Bernabeu, 2 away goals and their captain out for the reverse fixture, what’s not to like.

City, carrying the English flag in Europe.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Gone for Jesus. Did the job that was asked of him and got the goal. Can’t ask for much more from the number 9

Went for Walker again, his energy was impressive. Great stuff from Gabby, Fern after he came on, and from KDB just for scoring a penalty at last!

Eddie, Walker and KDB.

Gabby, meh.

I wonder if this was a trailer for next season, with KDB having the captain armband.

Apologies but I just want to mention otter. He takes a lot of criticism (from me too) but he was good tonight, solid enough, didnt let us down.

No one voted for Gundo?

He controlled the game and was in full on metronome mode. His ball retention under heavy pressing was crucial to keeping us in the tie and sad some don't seem to notice it enough.

He can make turns with the ball under pressure as well as any in the sport.

Who voted for Mendy? He gets 2 votes and Gundo none?

I voted fo Gundo even though I'd normally vote for Gabi, but Mendy?

He gave away the ball and got beaten for a header by a smaller player. He's been better, but how so?

Gundo, is unfortunately the whipping boy. And he's also the sort of player who only gets noticed when he fucks up.

The amount of rows I've had about Gundo is unreal.

I didn't go for him this time because I went for the other whipping boy, Jesus.
