Is this the very best generation the Premier League had?

Definitely. No one has come close to that sort of success rate, as far as I can remember.

That’s incredible you’d have to pinch yourself sometimes, we’re so fortunate to be witnessing City’s dominance.

If that record was held by rags, pool etc it would be lauded by the media and we’d be reminded of the achievements on a regular basis.

From the Beeb: Pep apparently said the following...

"Since we started to win, the last nine [domestic] competitions we played, we won eight," he told BBC Radio 5 Live.

"That is awesome. No club before in the history of domestic trophies, not counting Europe, won the amount of titles in a row we have won.

"Not even the biggest Liverpool in the 80s, the biggest Manchester United with Sir Alex Ferguson or Jose Mourinho, or Arsene Wenger [with Arsenal).

"These clubs were amazing but were never able to win in the last nine titles, domestic eight."

Liverpool won six league titles, two FA Cups and four successive League Cups in the 1980s, while United accumulated 13 Premier League titles including three in a row on two occasions under Ferguson, with Wenger guiding Arsenal to an unbeaten league season.

Guess we can't ever get credit? Most of what I see and hear is vehement toxicity towards our club and everything recently achieved. It's pathetic. If people truly enjoyed football as a sport, they'd surely appreciate the quality of entertainment (and competition) this team has provided England (and some in Europe) over the last 10 or so years.

I am no fan of Taylor Swift , but we could adopt her line The haters gonna hate hate, we're just gonna win win. When you play entitled fuckers like them yesterday all stuck in the 80's. It's sweeter. High Wycombe train station idiot Villa fans bouncing about some in the 50's, we just laughed at them and a great evening. Pathetic with kids commuters all making the way home.
