I presume the idea is that we would have some influence in the french league and then via them on UEFA without any of the PL or other traditional clubs being in that league to block us. But sounds a bit fanciful.

Funnily enough I am going to Nancy in May.

Ah, happy days standing on the terraces behind the goal at Marcel Picot watching the likes of Tony Vairelles and Eric Rabesandratana. I'll be pleased if CFG can get them challenging at the top of Ligue 1.

A bit of potential around the area for regeneration. Lorraine is a bit of a forgotten region in France, looked down upon by some. I really enjoyed my time there.

Fucking Tony Vairelles and Eric Rabesandratana. I was certain they were amazing at that time.
Tony went and won the league with Lens, while Eric was alongside Poch in PSG's defence.

Football was really fun back then.
