The obsession to have a "story" behind each and every kit seems to override what should be the main factor of having a bloody good design that us fans want to wear. As others have mentioned, who at the club is signing off on them?

The 125 shirt is brilliant and if the new shirt had been designed around that, I have no doubt it would have been the best selling shirt ever. Sadly......

As much as I'd like us to have a proper kit, the club are marketing shirts to kids/youngsters from all over the world. They can't design them based on the tastes of a load of 48 year old season ticket holders.

While I agree with that, I do find it hard to believe that this particular example is to anyone's taste!
