What’s everyone’s thoughts on the real possibility of actually having an empty stadium?
The threat the Coronavius poses on football is now looking more like when than if we will see games in England played behind closed doors.
PSG v Dortmund and Olympiakos v Wolves both now confirmed as being played behind closed doors and Seria A suspended until April 3rd.
Madrid has seen a sharp rise in confirmed cases the last few days....

Won’t make a difference will it because we have no fans anyway.

Cue rags and dippers making jokes about "how can you tell". The same cocks who couldn't point out Manchester or Liverpool on a map
Would be funny if the dippers finally won the PL in front of an empty Anfield. But empty stadiums is not the answer.

Fact.
Seriously though no thoughts or concerns about how it will effect football? Think it’s a very real issue for sports fans and sports business. It could have huge consequences financially and cause massive problems for clubs and associations.
I follow cycling and some really good races have been cancelled in Italy. Six Nations has been hit etc
Really surprised Cheltenham got the go ahead, wouldn’t have anything to do with money would it?

Those idiots would risk more murders by trying to get in the stadium in thousands 100%

Fuck the stadiums, I suggest you stock up on toilet rolls and empty the shelf of hand wash, mouthwash in some cases.
Only joking, just make sure you look after yourselves in the best way possible. The government are late to the game and are looking at economics more than your health. This will hurt, just look at Boris’ serious face today, he knows he’s fucked up and pushed it to far.
Football means fuck all when you have to spend your 3 o’clock kick off at the cemetery.

It’s getting fairly serious in Madrid the Spanish health minister has just announced all schools and Universities in Madrid are closing from Wednesday for a two week period after a sharp spike in cases in the City.
The UK Government might have to see sense and forget about the economic impact.

According to the sensible scientific fella who stands next to Johnson in Corona virus conferences, shutting the grounds would be counterproductive as the virus would spread more quickly amongst the people gathered more closely in pubs to watch the games.

This is going to get worse and games behind closed doors are a real possibility.

The sensible guy, paid by the government. He is right in one way, we Brits will do whatever we want, even if it is harmful to our society.

Dependant on severity, cancellation would be the wiser course.

After that Derby debacle Wednesday will be interesting.
Will be lots of empty Seats
No doubt Pep will call the stay awayers cunts for showing no interest in attending a Premier League game he dosent take seriously because he is resting players for a Weeks time.
When the Manager and players start not giving a shit, the fans normally follow suit.
Seems Premier League is no longer a priority.
You can hardly expect people to spunk good money on games the Manager, and team no longer really give a shit about.

Not sure you're understanding my point mate ?
"Premier League is no longer a priority " = Top 4 is assured = Pep no longer gives a shit = players no longer really give a shit.
Also meaning when some fans look out the window and its cold an pissing down tomorrow, and the Scousers are on BT Sport and could be getting knocked out the Champions League they might think twice about spunking money on a game Pep will playing squad players in, with Madrid in mind next week.
Pep no doubt will survey the empty seats, and call them all Cunts in his own special way, before lecturing on how special the Rags are,a special Club, with special fans and lots of history, never any empty seats over there..........................................oh wait a minute ?
