Very difficult this one, if you stop people going to one venue will they got to another, you know watching in pubs, houses etc, I just think there are that many variables you cannot just say it’s all about this that and the other if you follow me. The only people that will be happy about this are the Greta nutters because of the reduction in travel.

I was thinking that whilst doing the poll answers. If the media force the issue to show the games on TV, whilst fans are excluded from the ground, there will be many who will need somewhere to watch it so end up mass congregating at the local pub or at a friends house. May as well be at the ground.

Could it be said that if you played the first fixture with a crowd, the home team had the advantage due to the atmosphere but playing the second leg with no home crowd is now being played to the home teams disadvantage, considering the variables?

It’s a know that fans can have an outcome on a game of football, and, as Pep says, what’s the point of football without fans.

If the games are shown on TV, it needs to be free-to-air for ALL games, including those that would have otherwise been shown on Sky. That's the only way to make it fair to supporters.

As there's no way Sky would go along with this, the season needs to be postponed indefinitely, and cancelled if it becomes infeasible to play all games by the end of May (unless Euro 2020 is cancelled, which could free up another 2-3 weeks for the domestic season).

So, the postponement is now in play, not because of fan safety but because the players are self isolating. If the stated isolation time should be 14 days, how can Arsenal get their next 2 fixtures in?

The isolation period begins when you were in contact with the person with the virus, which was about 10 days ago. The logic is that after 14 days of being in contact, you are no longer a spreader.

It's hard to imagine getting to the end of May with football matches going ahead normally. Especially the Chumps League.
