No champions for 19-20 season seems a fair option to me

:D

Simple this. Cancel this season and hand out the trophies to those that won them in 18/19.

I don’t see why all the weekends fixtures won’t be postponed then as well.

The arse are scheduled to play Brighton at the weekend, and Sheffield Utd in the FA cup next weekend, both inside the 14 day self isolation period. Doesn't logic dictate these will have to be postponed as well? Or is it only against us that they're not allowed to field some squad and younger players?

Cancel all future games this season, declare it void and start from scratch next season.........

Oh, that's good. However, as they've played WHU since, shouldn't they also be in isolation, as a precaution?

That's the thing. 14 days self isolation supposedly started after playing Olympiakos but they didn't know the owner was positive till yesterday so if any of them have it then they may already have passed it on but the self isolation stops on Friday. Making it up as they go along. No blame to Arsenal whatsoever in this instance though.

Dont quite see why this has been postponed in all honesty. No Forest players tested positive and only a few Arsenal players were in close proximity to the Forest owner.

Think we could have had grounds to insist the fixture went ahead. Sets a dangerous precedent

What would they do if we just thought “can’t be arsed playing Burnley this weekend, we can rest for Madrid” and we just told the league that a few of our players were in contact with someone with Coronavirus? They wouldn’t be able to refuse us because they’ve set their stall out now.

After now seeing the rest of the detail and Arsenal able to play their next fixtures it seems that Arsenal have been a little underhand in their reporting and subsequent postponement of the game.
