Just phoned up to cancel my Sky Sports package with there being no football on Television

Was given a free full Sky Sports package until the football returns.

Meaning I will not pay for Sky Sports again until Premier League Football returns to the Television.

Sky will notify me beforehand,and taking payment.

I figure this must be a countrywide offer to those that phone up to cancel Sky Sports.

Works out at a saving of nearly £30.00 a month in my case.

Hope it helps one or two.

Class. I can give my notice next next Friday so I’ll be doing it then.

Just seen you can do in on line by logging on to your account. Avoids long and expensive telephone call.

We get Sky through VirginMedia. Nothing from them as yet

Yeah that's how I did it. Paused my Sky Sports subscription, saved £20 a month and still have the channels to watch if they ever put anything good on them!

Good old sky They could hardly keeping charging when there’s no sport to show.

I’ve just paused mine online. It’s in the diary to call them next week to cancel the whole package though.

I just used the pause option over the phone only took 2 minutes . Basically pauses your sky sports package until most sport resumes .

Makes sense to keep subscribers so they can justify the cost of an ad

Cancelled mine 2 month ago seems a great decision now, £81.50 a month was a piss take.
