Just read about this, he had skin cancer that was diagnosed a while ago as untreatable.

He has an interesting back story. I cannot remember him playing for us, I know it was 79/80 and I was actively attending Maine Road then but I was only 9 and have no recollection of him.

May he RIP

I remember sneaking in via Maine Stand he bent one in bottom corner at the North Stand end 1-0 us. Rags getting leathered all over the ticket office area crazy scenes

I remember that curler; even in real life it seemed to go so slowly that I thought it would stop - probably just an effect of Derby tension! He was one of Mal's youngsters in his rebuilding effort, but struggled with all that was going on and I think we sold him to Brighton at a loss (typical City).

The BBC call him ex-Liverpool and RoI striker, which is true, but you have to read half way through the article for mention of MCFC, PNE and QPR and his Spanish club. He only had one season with the scouse (although he did win three trophies in it).

I remember that 2-0 game. I think it may have been the first time that I saw us beat the red shite live was sat in the North Stand and watched his goal curling in towards us
Rated Robinson but we couldn't afford to let him settle in and moved him on when Tuert returned
RIP Muchael
