Do you miss football?

I was really thinking it would be worse, but actually I do not miss football that much. I miss City, yes, but overall football, neah, almost close to zero.

What about you lot?

Again. not really. But then, like others on here, I was getting to the point of packing it up anyway, as it's not about what it was any more, now it's just about money and politics.

Not missed it very much at all. I too have been close to jacking it, largely due to VAR.
However two things have happened this season that has made me realise how good the lads who we go with are. Firstly this Covid mullarkey and secondly was Scots Pete's premature passing, which again reminded me of the value of the extended Blue Family.

Not that much, but mainly because it was inevitable the Mickeys were going to win, and I was dreading the media orgy. So ruining their party is almost preferable to watching football.

But this season for me has been tainted by PGMOL and and underlying suspicion that games are being "steered" by VAR and, more importantly, the selective non-application of VAR by PGMOL without explanation. (See the TAA non-handball against us, for example.)

Pretty much sums it up for me. I miss dicking about with the boys especially on the away and euro trips but the fun had already started to wear thin with the continued Iinterference of VAR and the PL dark arts. If it was to start again either behind closed doors/ and at neutral venues, can see a lot turning their backs on it - so be careful what you wish for PL

My experience this season ....... underwhelming mainly because of the fucking diabolical VAR and the sheer effort the corrupt PL and PIGMOL to get Liverpool clear at the top early in the season . The match day experience ruined by pathetic VAR calls and decisions , never seen so many pissed off and disheartened fans than this season because of shite VAR . Despite this we won the League cup and I really think we were on course for our first CL final , the FA cup would have been a formality also . Really miss the weekend pre match piss ups in the city center and the banter on the trains and trams crammed like sardines, can’t see that happening again for a long time . Lastly I think PL football is truly fucked , it is run by absolute cunts backed up by cunts in the media . Oh and I absolutely detest LFC and there disgusting vile support , think I am another one close to calling it a day I think .

In short, yes.

It's not like the regular summer where we would have cricket. Or golf, tennis or whatever floats your boat. There's literally no sport. So I am also missing cricket big time. Doubt I'll get down to Trent Bridge at all this year which is a big miss for me.

Yes the dippers were/are gonna win it. But it was gonna happen sooner or later. We have still had a decent season and as C64 alluded to, we were in with a great shout in the CL with the FA Cup still all to play for. I love football and I for one cant wait for its resumption.

I miss City

Don't miss football in general, i've not bothered watching any of the MOTD shizzle, none of the replays of bygone games of yesteryear.

Just give the murdering cunts their pot now with the added asterisk to stigmatise it and by the time we come out of lock down their "glory" will have been overshadowed so their offensive gloating (yeah we all know at least 5 each of these cunts) will have subsided.

Similar here - I've always found it to be the case that I miss City more during international breaks (when there's football on that I largely have no interest in) than during the close season (when there's nothing on). That might be one of the reasons why.

Similar to the above. It seems like the end of the season and time for rest. No interest if this season revived. I'll probably be ready for next season as usual though, even if it is in September and behind closed doors.

At the minute I am working predominantly from home with a few days actually in work, so like some have said it's like being on holiday at the end of the season.
However if I am back in work 5 days a week I'll really miss going to the games at the weekend and during the week to give some work/life balance.

Yes to a certain degree. But somethings, like my health and the health of others are way more important.
