Sounds like he’s not even checked, probably knowing that we’ve made it anyway.

After Chelsea's result, a win v Brighton confirms second place by my reckoning.

Mendy does great to find a position and then wastes it.

Having looked at the interview it seems very unlikely that Pep has been told we will be banned next year. He may not know one or the other, I suppose.

So, if the club have it right and all charges dropped, this means the rags are back Thursday night footie in the likes of khazastan?

Also, will uefa now drop their whitch hunt against us, as I fully expect our statement to say 'you fucked with the wrong team AGAIN......

Fingers crossed the club have got this right.

As we know, UEFA are just the administrators of the cartels competition and Soriano was quite clear that it isn’t UEFA we have a problem with, only those who have forced them into this situation - how can a board be impartial when you have the likes of Rick Parry sat on it and David Gill brought in to head it up as the cartel thought the original outcome would be too lenient?

There’s been many positives on the outcome of this case with Pep’s continued optimism being the prime mover. There’s no way the club would allow our manager to continually use the CL line if they weren’t confident/assured of a win. Apart from the obvious ‘Qualified for the CL’ statement last night there was a more subtle hint from Pep when he was talking about Sterling, mentioning that he was here for the future. After all the speculation of players leaving, it was as if he just wanted to get the message out there.

The other big mover for me is what you mention above regarding the Rags. Over lockdown it was interesting to see their manager was the mainstay of SSN, giving interview after interview, it seemed to be a daily spot. The part that got me that he was in the office for the majority of them whereas the likes of Rogers were at home. It said to me that they were planning for the restart very early and if that was the case, why? Then you see how they are being officiated, being given everything by the refs, it says to me that the cartel aren’t convinced of a win and they’re going balls out for 4th.

Anyway, 24 hours to go and we’ll all be put out of our misery. Good news and we’ll all be cockahoop, bad news and the sky will fall, Pep will walk and the players fuck off to our rivals.

Nothing to worry about ;-)

If it goes against us tomorrow, is that the end of the line, definitive, no chance of any further appeals......or can we go to a higher court?

We can go to the Swiss Courts but we would be out next year. Once the draw takes place its too late.

So for us to have agreed to delay the announcement from the 10th to the 13th is quite significant then? Why would we delay until after the draw if we didn’t know the likely outcome.

Both sides will have emerged with a take on how things went at the hearing. Both sides will say they’re confident. It seems to me that the 10.30 timing is consistent with both sides being told at say 8 am Swiss time. After that off the record spinning is quite likely especially if one side has won on all points. Look out for twitter at that point.

Yes indeed, we can go to court in Switzerland because UEFA are a charity status organisation in Nyon.

It would then become very expensive for UEFA . Things aren't cheap here. Expensive for City too,but those are business costs .
