Champions of England v Arsenal

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Champions of England v Arsenal

Postby City64 » Sat Jun 13, 2020 8:57 am

Next Wednesday sees the still reigning champions of England Manchester City restart our PL campaign for the sake of tv money and nothing else ( not our fault) . It will be very strange indeed , fake football ? will also be very strange for my wellbeing not attending or participating in the usual match socialising and travelling etc . Love my club but my love for the game has dwindled.
Lastly fuck off you scouse bastards it isn’t ALL ABOUT YOU !!!!
Not really here

I'm looking forward to the game just to see our lads play, but not being there is a shitter, if we get banned what's the fucking point? Might as well win all the cups incl CL. And the see what happens when the winners can't defend it!!
If we lose the appeal let's hope we have a decent set of players that want to stay.

Please don’t refer to us as the champions of England when we’re 20+ points behind Liverpool - it’s just embarrassing at this point

We are still the reigning PL champions. Albeit for not much longer I grant you

I’m aware of that, it’s still bloody cringe though

I have not even looked at Newsnow for City updates which means I'm still not bothered about football. I will watch the match , as long as I don't have other important plans that day but its weird that I just don't care at the moment .

I'm with you on that. When I saw this thread, I thought it might even be the matchday thread, because I honestly didn't have a clue when the game is supposed to be, which is an indicator of how little I care.

I’ve noticed that nearly all the Bundesliga games have gone to form without the fans, basically meaning the better team wins. Are we better than Arsenal?

Are we playing a friendly before this? I just can’t find anything to suggest we are, maybe we’ve kept match practice internal?

Don’t know about that, there have been an inordinate amount of away wins it seems. Home advantage seems to have gone

I think the away thing is because of that where the better team is winning due to the home advantage being relinquished due to there being no fans.

I see Madrid played their home game today at their training ground stadium, the Alfredo di Stefano stadium. Our lads have probably played there in the European youth league.

Why then dont we play our games at the Academy stadium?

Probably because of the analytical tech that the stadium has.

Expect it and all the other games to be strange games, football wise, like the first games of a new season where silly results can be thrown up.

Strange, it’ll be fucking idiotic!

I’m not one for this but as it’s back on then I’ll be watching the important games.

Before our game, I can take the pent-up anger out on the starting game and give my all for Sheffield United.

Not seen anything on the presser, wonder what glorious questions will be/have been asked?
