I’ll have to have a look at the stats but Southampton played far the better football, they almost seemed to want to play like us. Compare and contrast to our game last week.

My lad messaged me to say that the Rags are just a counterattack team, he’s not far wrong. And, to think, they are the home side.

Certainly put a bit of extra pressure on them. My main take from their game was that the Saints gave the ref no opportunity to give a penalty.
