Bernardo was completely right to give them no respect at all, as I reckon most of the team thought. The way we have been ripped off and them handed the title is not lost on the players and their spokesman, Pep, has been very clear how he thinks it’s ‘incredible’ what the boys have had to overcome to be so successful against the backdrop of dodgy officiating and Rag/Dipper driven media hate.
What seriously pissed me off, at the same time as laughing at Bernie, was how none of the Dipper players acknowledged any of ours, just staring dead ahead in total disrespect. I was expecting some form of acknowledgement, such as clapping to our players or just a courteous thank you but, no, absolutely fuck all and all led by their captain.
Disrespectful muttafuckers can lick Bernie’s Bovril tasting balls!
