Not a fan , but I have a feeling we are going to need him this season with all the weird injury shit that happens to us coupled with Covid isolation we have already incurred and more coming I think he will be worth more to us than the $10mill even if he only plays in cup games to give a rest to others

Hes on my shit list , that's for sure.

I don't understand Baldie...why lose the cunt for nothing next summer when we could get 10 to 12 Mil now ?

It’s a Barca thing imo Carl, I am not sure who said it but nobody leaves Barca through the front door. Sadly the Catalan holds no thoughts of thanks or gratitude. The Spafia were never going to be anything but difficult. The current President has tried to ruin Messi legacy, crazy club in its way to self inflicted ruin. Broke in many ways.

Why spent 10-12 mil of Barca's money when he can have him there for free next year?

10-12 million to have a decent option at CB for a year makes sense to me - if he does well he might get a contract offer here that may turn his head

Nobody doing business with Barca this window says everything we we need to no about Barca as a football club today . Also there will be fall out between city and Barca over the Messi shambles I reckon . Politics eh !

I’m assuming the club thinks they might be able to persuade him to stay, and that’s one of the reasons we kept him (along with the Barca valuation falling short). Who knows - with everything that’s going on at Barca, if things get worse there I can’t see why Puyol would advise him to go back.

Personally, pay or fuck off. I think we had to take a stance, bend backwards and all buying clubs will take us for a ride in the near future.

They need him more than us, we made Bayern pay.

I'd rather sold him but at the right price, we are not running a charity shop.

He's still a gimp

Reports that he pushed for City to let him go back to Barca until the very last minute.

I worry about his commitment this season. I wouldn’t play him in any big games.
