I read the other day Puyol advised him to stay at City? Unless Puyol knows something about Pep?

If Pep is not staying, That will be a factor for Garcia, I think Puyol the Barca election which Laporte the president when Pep was there are big factors, we get banned next week, Barca will be after a lot more than Garcia IMO.

I think so. Even one year ban will put us under a lot of pressure.

If koubily and Ake are coming to city I see Garcia as back up, otter/stones probably on their way.
I'm not overly bothered about Garcia going to Barca he lacks pace, Bellis looks like a decent defender to be brought up the way garcia has, and has bags of pace.
My main concern is upfront we need another striker, jesus not an out and out poacher.

He is from Barça mate it will be no slight on anyone including Pep if he decides home is where he wants.

I've probably mentioned this before but he and Laporte look so balanced. They never look like they are extending themselves. Everything looks comfortable.

He has a couple of shortfalls to get over, namely height and pace, but he does look a top defender in the making.

It's good Barca are not in great shape, but he won't be too pleased he's getting games and now we are looking to sign 2 players who will be competing for the same position.

If we sign Ake, he is also here to play other positions, but that may not make him too pleased.

I really hope he stays.

Probably why we need to convince him to sign before we make signings.
