“I love this club!”

Deserves his own thread after the presser released last night. Loved it when we got him, fell out with him when I thought he wasn’t close to the fans and didn’t understand us in various different situations. But now he sees what we see, he’s one of us and it’s great to see him getting emotional about all this as we as fans have and will do. And having the balls to name names when it comes to the clubs that have gone against us.

Sign him up for another four more years please!

Two things concern me 1) he doesn’t appear to be wanting to sign up beyond 2021 2) he’s said the chairman isn’t happy with him

I love Pep and for all his faults I view him as vital to our success in the next 5-10 years but I just don’t think he will be around

Tbf to him, this was supposed to be his last season and he signed a one year extension last year. I think the only other place he’d go to is Barca and that bellend for La Liga is making it tough for that to happen so I think it’s 50/50. I guess only he knows but if he’s genuinely trying to convince Garcia to stay, that says to me he isn’t going back to Barca any time soon.

yes, his tone is worrying. “this club will be fine without me”

But he also added “whenever I leave”. I genuinely think he’s not made his mind up yet.

The thing is not about money with him, I genuine think he wants to win a title in France and Italy also, then retire.

The guy has football on the brain 24/7. Robben said Pep called him at 3am once to discuss tactics. I can’t see Pep walking away from football until he’s on his death bed.

I don’t think anyone understands him fully. Probably not even his wife

We’ve Got Guardiola we’ve gotGuardiola
I wish we had the fans back in the stadium now
That song would be sung for 90 minutes ,

I’m with Mase I couldn’t understand how / why he wasn’t getting us fans , knowing that he is up for a cause But if he has been bottling up all that anger
Until it was time to release it he is a better man than me , But I think now is the time for the club to step in Pep should not have to fight the press
( press laugh) every day. , I heard that a big part of his wanting a break from football was having to consistently defend Barca ?

Has he ever successfully rebuilt a side? He might fancy it.

I think the fact liverpool are so far ahead of us might have reinvigorated his enthusiasm. He wont leave until he has conquered them again. Next season is huge and i think he will put a rocket up the ask of everyone to ensure we dont have another season like this.

Think we'll have him two more years. This transfer window and next season to plug major gaps in squad. Season after to retain next year's title. Champions league Winners next year I reckon.

‘Out’.

Fucking love the bloke. He’s cranky, crazy, calamitous occasionally, but he is pure class and the greatest tactical/technical manager I’ve ever seen.

And that’s before he understood what we Blues were about.

I have a feeling that the crazy bastard might stay even longer here.

His experience here I think he changed a lot his perception about football. I don't think we can argue that he was entitled when he came here, having experienced a lot of favors at Barcelona and Bayern. From ref protection, to how teams perform versus him.
His last two years, most of all, showed him what is really to be a City fan, to work for a club that isn't part of the cartel.

I think he wants now to take all of them, most of all after the CAS. We've never seen him like this, spitting blue blood.

When he does go I’m not that bothered because his legacy will live on. He’s put the cherry on top of this club with its structure and style. The methods will last for years after he goes, We’ll bring in a manager who has a similar style and that manager will live off what Pep has built for 4-5 years easily.

Pep has upgraded the DNA of the club. We just need that stupid shitty Champs League big ears cup to shut everyone up forever.
