He is class for some reason he has failed to settle, we will have a ton of clubs after him if he wants out. I would not sell him.

Agree with this. Looks like he / his family have not settled well which happens even to these multi millionaires. I would keep him for sure but we wont be short of overseas suitors if he wants to leave

What points to it being cancelo not settling? Pep has never fancied him? And he was 60 mill ?

Quotes about him from Pep last night
"The most incredible thing from Joao is now he is a completely different individual from when he arrived. We needed time to understand each other, him to me and the team and me to him too,"
What I want is his behaviour that he is doing after the restart.
"Unfortunately for us, when we came back to restart he was the best player in the training session and was incredible, and unfortunately he had a little problem on the dangerous part of his leg and he was stopped for a while, but all I want with Joao is this happiness in the training session, and a relationship with his team mates because we know the quality that he has.
"With his happiness in the training sessions, he is going to help us a lot in the next seasons. He understands us better than the beginning and we understand him better."

It's not going to be Pep not fancying him. Pep spent the big bucks on him.
I'd say it's Walker being ultra consistent this season unlike last season when he had a really dodgy spell.
Cancelo was really good yesterday. Mendy is suspended for the RM game so hopefully he'll play there again Sunday, play well against Madrid and can cement his place for the Quarters.

That sounds promising - like I've said, he is a decent player who we have yet to see the best of

Cancelo was excellent and he did what he has not done since he came to City , and that was expressing himself on the pitch. He did a few tricks here and there and got past his man every time and that's down to him being allowed to have a certain freedom in how he played.
The way he played yesterday , Mendy is nowhere near that kind of performance...even on his best day.
What worries me about PeP is he never ever stays loyal to a player who has performed excellent the previous game and plays the same player the next game , he normally finds himself on the bench- PePs down fall IMO.

It’s simple for him play like you did at Juve. He is miles away from that, we have had glimpses, perspective is Watford offered nothing. He is a major talent, only he can cement a place in Peps mind. He could be our Danny Alves. It’s up-to him. If you watch Netflix Barca the making of the worlds greatest team, the worlds best ever players in the modern era all say the same work listen pass the ball smile Pep only asks you to do this along with 100% commitment, Xavi summed it up, playing for Pep is the greatest period of your football life, buy in or do one.

It was only a game against Watford so we will have to see.
I like him though and last night was our best left back performance of the season, albeit against a very poor team.
Pep has a little team selection headache ahead of the Real game. Does he play Garcia? Cancelo at LB, Foden for Dave? All big calls.

PeP will play Gundo and at the back he will have not have the same back 4.
Guaranteed.

Read somewhere we have made 143(?) changes so far in the 37 PL games which unsurprisingly is a record.

Its the constant changing of the back 4 that pisses me off - PeP has got that wrong all season long, and the proof of that is obvious.
