Yes, that is what they said in the brief statement. The commercial arrangement they agreed with Ashley expired because of the time taken to negotiate and they are not renewing because they don't think the case stacks up any more, especially with no clarity about next season.

So a mixture of Ashley being a twat and changed circumstances.

A pity really, I would have liked them to edge out Spuds.


300 mill is nothing to the purchasers, the landscape unclear, what is clear the cartel will not allow another City!!
