Decent article here about Ferran, I have friends in Valencia region, they are not happy to lose another top player, the guy Balague who wrote this piece is normally sound -:

Apparently he refused to play for Valencia recently and pissed off his teammates. Could just be a rumor.

Why would he risk getting injured in a pointless match ?
He did the right thing IMO.

Not seen Torres other than a few highlights on YouTube so don’t have a clue how good he actually is.
It doesn’t seem much of a fee though for a highly rated young player. Like seeing the club moving for youth, hope he’s a success.

It is not long ago the fee was £45 million, but his contract has now less than 12 month’s this helps the buyers during negotiations, have friends in Spain who rate him very highly.
