Biggest legend poll (players post takeover only)

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Got to be Kun for sheer consistency in arguably the hardest league for domestic football - not to mention abaptability to change his way of thinking about football enough to thrive under one of the most demanding managers to have graced the game (plus several others each with their own way of approaching things).

I’m not voting yet, Dave and Kun have power to add!

Great poll. I went Kompany as it’s biggest legend, but best player I actually feel was Yaya. Realistically though you could pick any of them.
Tracking back is overrated.

Goater.
The fact that he has not played since well before the takeover is irrelevant.

Well it’s my thread and I can tell you it isn’t irrelevant at all! ;)

One more for Kompany, the fact that he was here before the money rolled in gives him the edge over Aguero and Silva for me.

Kompany is just so excellent in every way, respected by all, even the most ardent haters. Silva and Kun better players but Kompany has an aura about him.

Don’t think Zabba should be in the same breath as other 3 to be honest. I couldn’t love the man more and he is a club legend but not a top top player

He was the best RB in the league for a few seasons on the trot. But this poll is who is the biggest legend.

I think Zaba was a key part of 2011-2012. Micah was done at that time and Zaba stepped up and was fantastic. Of course, I am biased, but playing for top clubs like City and WHU and being a regular in the national team or Argentina makes him a top player in my book.

What makes them great is that they were so dependent on each other and I think they really were a family. They came as mercenaries here, no doubt, but found something they didn't expect: a family.

Aguero and Dave, I really think they were on the radar of both Spanish cartel clubs, but they didn't even think it two times. Of course, there was money involved, but they really felt in love with the club, with what City meant.

I think Zabas goal that contributed to us winning the prem gets brushed under the carpet a lot of the time...hes as much a hero as Dzeko and Aguero was in that match but Aguero was afforded legendary status for what he did to win us the match..quite rightly too.

That sums up the whole decade era and Vinny lead us all to unprecedented glory and turned English football upside down . It needed doing and he was the boy , absolute legend that changed English football and made MCFC a world wide icon .

Know what you mean BJ. Different world then, but the Goat will always be the number one legend in my eyes.

Can I just insert a point of order - Kompany was signed pre-takeover so this poll is null and void - nothing to do with me having voted for Aguero. His goal scoring record alone is enough for me and he earns the respect for adapting to Pep’s requirements from him as a footballer.

Zabaleta joined the day before the takeover as well.
