Pep fucked up, and rightly so should be pointed out. If he sticks around we should get behind him. If he leaves, I'll wish him all the best and what he brought to the club.

I don't see the point beating him with a stick when he's down.

I'm in two minds, if he's going, should the board back him with funds or wait for his replacement? If he doesn't get the backing, the vermins might go unchallenged for years.

I'm over his fuck up, wish he comes out and say if he's sticking around or going, it's quite irritating the longer it drags on.

Dare I say we need to change direction the way we play, tippy tappy football is falling short and it's time we evolved, I hope I'm wrong and Pep steps up and deliver

Yaya Toure has described Manchester City's announcement that David Silva will get a statue outside the Etihad Stadium as 'odd'.

Silva departed City this week after a decorated ten-year spell, joining Real Sociedad in La Liga. He leaves the Premier League as one of the best foreign players to play in England, and his contribution to City's success has not gone unrecognised by the club.

Chairman Khaldoon Al-Mubarak confirmed the club will erect a statue of Silva outside the Etihad, while he has had a training pitch at the CFA named after him with a personalised mosaic. Previous departing players like Joe Hart, Vincent Kompany and Toure have been given similar honours.

But Toure, who joined City at the same time as Silva and went on to make 316 appearances for the Blues in eight years, says it is 'odd' to give the Spaniard a statue as he appeared to question why he hasn't been honoured in the same way.

Toure said: "The statue for Silva, I am very delighted, very happy. They gave him that."For me, it's up to the club – I have nothing much to say about that. They can decide what they want.“Is it odd though? Yeah. But I can do nothing about it because it is up to the club. The fans know better.”

Toure's comments came after he suggested the club would have to reassess their approach if success continues to elude them in the Champions League.

He said: "Of course, he's [Guardiola] been brought to the club to get a massive trophy for them and at the moment it's not been delivered in the way they want.

"Everyone knows Pep is a great manager but at the moment when things are not going their way, sometimes it's the time to change the way they do things. We'll see."
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

What’s really “odd” is that Yaya can’t keep his mouth shut.

You beat me to it. If you and your agent would have kept your own counsel then perhaps you could be looking at a statue instead of a training pitch & you are correct, the fans know

Wonder if in a decade or so that fans memories of him will change. At the moment his on field exploits still outweigh the off field ones. Perhaps in time he will be remembered more as a bell end for him and his agents off field exploits as the memories of his playing ability fade, as newer players will be fresher in the mind?

He just embarrasses himself really.

I think the opposite will happen: the replays of his goals will continue to be played and dominate people's memories, especially the younger people who watched him, and his silliness will be forgotten,

His desire for a birthday cake(and making us a laughing stock) lost him the statue. Good enough for him. Only the greatest get a statue.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
