David Silva has joined Real Sociedad as a free agent on a two-year deal after his Manchester City contract expired. SSN

Sad seeing him go especially under these circumstances and without the fans to cheer him off. Just Serg left now out of that pack. Enjoyed Kaldoons interview about him and the word he said. Lazy twat could have learned English though.

Statue should be El Mago, Komps, Zab (with bandage), Yaya and Serg!

Komps hasn't been replaced, Dave might be impossible. Serg and Ferna have one more season. Worrying times to stay at the top.

They should be building these as they leave, but set in stone prior so the outcome is them ‘Altogether’.

Cheesy, but I like it.

To be honest, they’re all irreplaceable. It’s probably a City thing due to the lack of real success in the past, where these players will be revered for generations, just like Colin, Franny, Doyle, and the rest. No player will come close, how could they, but it is very short term’ism, in reality, and doesn’t allow us to accept other types of excellence.

For example, we wouldn’t accept Walker as a legend even though he’s been a large part of the Centurion/4midable season. The same with Sterling, just look at the said thread to see the apathy towards a player who has basically been One of the main contributors?

As for our managers, will the manager who now holds the majority of PL records, and has changed the English game more than any other manager, get a shout for what he has done? Maybe not a statue, but he really does need commemorating.

He is pure Manc, courtesy of many English tourists in the Canaries.

Said it before and I’ll say it again, we were blessed to have El Mago play for us. Arguably top 5 prem lge players ever and a top personality too.

Still feeling emotional over his departure and the remaining void.

Good luck David lad
