The internet does more damage than positive imo, and that’s down to the media and different movements using it for their gain. I want to talk about City, occasionally watch porn, and buy over the counter drugs and steroids from it and that’s it

And watching videos of BLM protesters dragging people from cars and beating them, looting, rioting - I just think at some point the Premier League should say ‘we’ve supported a movement for equality, and now we’ll be putting money in to things that will make a difference’ not just forcing people to take a fuckin knee. No one forces James McLean to wear a poppy - and rightly so, it’s his choice. What’s happening is people being forced to do something that they may or may not want to do. Pep was actually forced to stop wearing a ribbon - A RIBBON!!!

Agree 100%. Keep all that shit out of football. I watch football because I like the game, not to be subjected to lecture about some political or social bollocks.
The game is better of without any of this stuff.

So you're a no to the rainbow armbands? The poppies?

The Premier League/FA let people choose to wear the poppy or not (James McLean). The difference here is they’re putting players in a position where if they don’t kneel then the amount of shit they’ll get aimed at them for being “racist” would most likely ruin not just their career, but their life. Because that’s the world we live in now. How many teams do you think avoided going after McLean throughout his career because it’s not worth the hassle with him - just based on him not wearing a poppy.

I’m actually not a fan of the rainbow armbands either. Again, leave all that shit out of football. Does that make me homophobic? Absolutely not. I’d smoke Otter off in a heartbeat.

Edit- BUT ALSO WHEN HAVE WE SEEN THE GAY COMMUNITY WISHING DEATH ON PEOPLE OPENLY? JUST READING THE STORY THIS MORNING THAT TWO POLICE OFFICERS WERE SHOT AND WHILST THE AMBULANCE WAS TRYING TO GET THEM IN TO HOSPITAL BLACK LIVES MATTER PROTESTERS BLOCKED THE ENTRANCE AND CHANTED THEY WISHED DEATH ON THE OFFICERS. THATS WHAT THE PLAYERS ARE BEING FORCED TO SUPPORT - NOT EQUALITY.

The openly anti-Semitic messages in the UK gets swept well under the rug. It’s disgusting.

Also, we’re here on a football forum talking about politics within a footballing thread. This is my entire point - stop fuckin kneeling.

Supporting equality for gay people isn’t supporting one specific group. If there was a Gay Men’s Lives Matter group that went round causing destruction and chaos to different cities - then we could compare the two.

There’s more ways to supporting racial equality than supporting one specific movement, especially when that movement is killing people, making anti-Semitic comments, and looting and rioting.

Freedom of choice is paramount in the world we live in today . No issue should ever be forced upon us in a free western world , unfortunately with how the media manipulates society globally society is ultimately being massively manipulated. The world has always had major issues but the world today is in seriously dangerous shape with crackpot dangerous western leaders fanning the flames for there own dangerous political agendas . Very difficult for individuals not to get sucked into the political rhetoric of the day but I am sure fed up to the back teeth of Mase boasting he wants to suck off kolarov and otter ffs ????? No need really no need and embarrassing for the site .

You solve this shit with decency, but there is none.

That is the whole point.

You make a very good point. Decency has been turned about by scare mongering and we are now quite close to how Trump is acting, inciting numerous violent/protective issues all in order to secure another term.

I, personally, like to keep City separate from politics but, as we know, we’ve been dragged into all kinds of shenanigans of late. City fans are no longer fans of a football club but have become forensic accountants, barristers of law and investigative journalists, all in order to disprove bullshit claims that other cunts will spout. The best thing, we have usually proved right and it’s the haters proved wrong.

But, it’s all politics, just like the BLM stuff, which I do support. I just don’t support it being thrust in my face every time I turn on the TV. I only watch sport or the news, NCIS is a pleasure, so sometimes I need a break, that’s why I stick to sport.

Meanwhile, those who have racist tendencies don’t give a fuck. They probably don’t watch sport and Certainly aren't open for debate, that’s the way it works. They are happy with their world, and who can blame them, the cunts just want to live in their own world where they are king.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Beefy - do you support racial equality or do you support BLM? That’s two different things.

One example - The Chicago organisers of BLM recently said they support looting and theft from stores - you support that because you support BLM. You’re allowed to btw, I’m just making sure you understand what you say you’re supporting.

Trump and his followers can fuck off the end . USA will go a long way to resolving its issues in a few weeks time even with all the Russian interference to manipulate and corrupt the election result and incite hatred and violence. This is the western world today this is how it is being manipulated .

Ah okay, nice one - I tried to keep up with NBA but the kneeling (and using towels so they don’t hurt their knees whilst kneeling #Privilege) stopped me watching.

No doubt this shit will make it over to the Prem in the near future as we seem to copy everything the Americans do.

The lack of any pre-season match is concerning, especially as we play Wolves this week who have already started their season.

The only slight comfort is when the last season restarted after the break we did hit the ground running.
