City PL Fixtures 20/21 Season

MEN reporting MCFC have suspended Season Cards for the 2020/21 season forthwith .
Not much detail in the announcement but the last few days it has been clear a reduced capacity SC operation is unworkable.
Football is well and and truly fucked and revenue losses are going to be staggering. Football cannot survive on TV revenue something has to change or happen quick .

The decision City64 mentions above is to suspend season cards until games can be played with full capacity crowds. It say:

'Anyone who had a ticket in the 2019/20 campaign will not be asked for any money up front towards next season, and will be contacted about a renewal when the decision is made to bring the tickets back in.

Those supporters will also be given priority in ballots for individual matches that will start up when a fraction of fans begin to be allowed into grounds as per government guidelines. Only when fans are allocated a match will they have to pay.

We understand some supporters may not wish to, or be able, return to the stadium immediately, or at any time during the 20/21 season.

"If that is the case, you do not need to contact the club and we will consider your seasonal membership ‘deferred’. Please note, you will retain the option to renew your Seasoncard for the 21/22 season or at any such time that we may offer Seasoncards during the 20/21 season."

It’s a shame pal but at least MCFC have made a stand against the unworkable logistics of the whole thing .
