Be interesting to see the teamsheet for tonight’s fixture. Tough opening game but we are better than Wolves when all is said and done so we should get some sort of result

Come on City

That is a certainty.

I was half wondering if Pep will play Fern ahead of Stones, Garcia and Otter just to make a point to the board.
Maybe I am too cynical.

I will be surprised if he doesn't play Fern at CB alongside Ake

Pep will play the team he thinks is most likely to get three points. He certainly won’t be making a point to the board.

Your first City team of the 20/21 @premierleague season!

XI: Ederson, Walker, Stones, Ake, Mendy, Rodrigo, Fernandinho (C), De Bruyne, Foden, Sterling, Jesus

Subs: Steffen, Torres, Mahrez, Otamendi, Delap, Doyle, Bernabe

Hope we aren’t done for speed in the midfield. That aside, decent enough XI
