Why do we only have 2 forwards and a 17 year old kid as back up ? We are super rich are t we ?
Why is this ?

No idea mate. One of them as good as he is in reality Is only good for half a season. He spends the rest of the time out injured or trying to regain fitness.
We sensibly let Bony, Nolito and Ihenacho go in the summer of 2017. However there is no sense in the fact that not even one striker has joined the club since and we’ve been forced to promote a 17 year old when the squad is threadbare.
Absolutely stinks when we are supposedly trying to challenge for four trophies. We had some great striking options throughout the Mancini and Pellegrini reigns I don’t understand how the club feels we can operate so long this way.
When we had Sane providing such a great attacking outlet it wasn’t as much of a worry but we’ve lost a world class player there and have to hope Torres can step up.
The one thing that’s really getting at me is the lack of proven quality when it comes to signing. I never feel any of them are going to improve us straight away, it’s always let’s wait and see how they get on. Thats ok for a mid table team but not for a team trying to contend the league.

We need someone who falls over at the slightest touch, to take advantage of the new penalty rule interpretations. We could pick up someone from League 2 for 350K, and they'd still be responsible for getting us 20+ goals a season if they could do this one thing.

Not that long we had a young Aguero, Mario, Ed and Tevez.
Now we have an aging Aguero, Mr Offiside and a young lad with an awful lot to learn.
Hardly inspiring is it.

Sterling is not a forward either. If he is the answer, then I dread to think what the question was.
We made at least three positional changes to have Sterling as striker. He is NOT a forward. Far far better to keep the balance of the side the the same and make one like for like change. And if we have allowed ourselves to get in the position of that replacement being a 17 year old lad who has never played PL football before, then so be it. Would Delap have honestly been any less effective than Sterling yesterday? I’d suggest not. And maybe Foden, KDB and Sterling himself would have had better games in their usual positions
This needs sorting and fast. Square pegs and round holes do not match for very long

I thought this was gong to be about how much our forwards were strolling around yesterday, no movement, no dropping into the spaces, no options for our deeper players to pass to, no hunger to press or win the ball back when possession turned over, lazy and insipid.

Barcelona have fucked up all our plans.
Their aging squad needs serious refinancing.
Tixi is going to save our money,to give his true love £100.000 000 + for a 35 year old Messi in the summer before returning with Pep laughing his bollocks off.

If there could be a striker out there who is free and can help us.
You know, a striker we really wanted in the past
