Clearly The Club Are Not Buying A Striker. Why?

What are the reasons for this?
Incompetence?
Negligence?
Skint?
Arrogance?
We can’t be skint due to spending £60 on someone unknown centre half so what is the possible reason for this?

I agree, I'd like us to be in for 1 as well but GJ classes as a striker in my opinion.

There are probably several reasons as to why we have not signed a striker. Mainly our biggest problems were at the back last season so its a priority to resolve those problems first.
Other things have to be considered such as the loss of revenue due to the C19, the fact we have two established strikers, and wingers/midfielders who can also score.
We scored plenty of goals last season.
But I do think we will be in for a top striker next summer to replace Sergio.
