What about buy a top class striker now, a left back, possible right back?? Sell Sterling, Mendy, Garcia, Zinchenko possibly Stones.
Ake can play left back or centre back!
For now team for next game :-
EDERSON CANCELO DIAS LAPORTE AKE
DEBRUYNE RODRI SILVA TORRES
AGUERO DELAP
SUB:- STEFFAN WALKER FERNANDINHO FODEN GUNDOGHAN JESUS MAHREZ
LEAVES HARWOOD -BELLIS, DOYLE PALMER BRAAF TO BRING THROUGH.
Just thinking out loud and trying where possible to use well what we have got???
Pep the Premier league have cottoned on we now need you to come to the mark like I know you can with new plan A and a plan B

I’ll be very surprised if we get anyone else onboard in the next day before the window closes. Pleasantly surprised.

In my view we dont need a major reshuffle. We just need a settled consistent team, like all successful sides have.

If we solve the left back issue with anyone, and I mean anyone, I think we have a pretty decent squad at the moment.

I agree to a point but that does not seem to be how Pep works . He uses a squad , that can be ok but constant tweaking at the wrong time would be my only criticism of the man. However that’s the fine line in the past when it has worked we are classed as world beaters but presently as it goes wrong we are taken to the cleaners. That’s what taking chances is all about!! The biggest issue right now is how in two league games so far we have been world class for 20/25 minutes then it’s gone to pot. We are not winning the ball back as has been our strength for the last three years and we are giving it away then far to much! It can be fixed it needs fixing and now before we are yet again for a second season in a row to far behind . Also not sure how much our what appears poor transfer business works , every end of season we say we know what we want and will do business quick and every year we are still in the mix on the last day!!!!

Agreed, hopefully Cancelo won't be too long. RB he may be, but he's a sight more effective than Mendy, and Walker looks like he's going to be hard to shift.
