"mes que un club" as we are told.
They have always been a laughing stock of a club, filled with ridiculous politics and backstabbing in the background. It has been a slow but steady decline since 2010 when Joan Laporta was pushed out. Then Pep left around 2012 and you could start seeing that they were nowehere close to being as dominant. They arrested the decline a bit by buying Neymar and Suarez, but as their once in a lifetime academy graduates like Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol, Busquets started fading away, the faults throughout the club are now far too obvious to hide. A lot like the rags, infact! The same arrogance and belief in their own self proclaimed myth as some special club.

Must admit I went to the Nou Camp last year (summer 2019) to watch Wigan Warriors play Catalans , couldn’t believe what a state the stadium was in it was literally falling to bits in the higher levels . Club is being torn apart by bitter politics and mismanagement , still an absolutely stunning beautiful charming city though apart from the low life rip off taxi drivers ...... beware !

Imagine it is not far off the mark though. Glorious to see and can see Tebas squirming over this.
Remember though, debt is good. It’s wrong when owners inject money into a club but perfectly acceptable when they borrow and take money out of a club
Re the Garcia transfer. Simply tell them to fuck off. You want to sign our boy, sign him next year. And am I correct in assuming as he is home grown and under a certain age, that compensation must be paid? Or does only apply domestically?
Barca are a club in crisis and without Messi next year or soon enough, they will be a shadow of the side they are now. A period in the doldrums beckons

I think most clubs will make a loss in their next accounts and debts will go up because of the impacts of the suspension of the season and loss of commercial revenue.

Most media going with the €488 million figure announced by the club, rather than the 820 'all over Twitter':

Interesting from the seemingly infallible Basildon Standard, in the last decade Barcelona have spent in the region of £1.5 billion. I thought Tebas has maintained that little ol City had ruined football with excessive spending.
Hopefully Barca will come a cropper and soon
