Mendy watch

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Mendy watch

Postby PeterParker » Mon Oct 05, 2020 8:28 pm

Benjamin Mendy has told #ManCity he was NOT at the party held at his house, as reported by the Mail earlier on Monday afternoon – and that it was organised by his friend who lives with him. Mendy also said he knew nothing about it until after it had finished. His house-mate is expected to face a government fine, while Mendy is likely to escape punishment.

Why are we keeping him?

Why does he need a house mate? Hardly needs someone to chip in on the rent.

Will be glad when hes gone. Unfortunately it wont be for at least a year and no doubt it will bite us in the bum at some stage this year.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can he prove he wasn't there, if not then banged to rights IMO.

One thing is for sure he's not in the French squad so can't spring that as an alibi (neither is Laporte thankfully).

Yeah, but like Rodney said, Mario actually played something. He was crucial in our title.

I've never been annoyed by a City player as much as I am by this fella. He is the type of clowns we see each day, loud and stupid.
Reminds me of what Denzel said in American Gangster: The loudest one in the room is the weakest one in the room.

I don't understand why we keep on accepting his shite.

First few months when he joined were a tad entertaining, but I suspect many of us including me became tired very quickly when it became apparent he was putting in a better shift on Instagram/Twitter than on the pitch.

This his third season now? Injured more than played?

He has got shitter each season he's been here. I was genuinely surprised in the Leeds game as he actually managed two forward passes, the first I've seen from him since we came out of lock down.

He's passes back wards more than YaYa did in his last season.....

Well, that's 50m for two forward passes...

When we played the rags at Wembley and beat them in the semifinals in 2011 Mario went straight over to the rags fans at the final whistle and pulled on his badge and wound them up. Caused Wio and Anderson to have a fit crying and he just stood there laughing and winking. Mario was worth it all just for that!! Can’t compare Mendy to Mazza.

Fourth, with 35 PL starts (out of 117 PL games since he signed) to show for it.

Wow that's even worse than i thought, if we had paid him per game he's started that would be £3.15M, where we've actually paid him £14.1M for just his first 3 years, incredible when you think about it.
