Completely agree but at least he has managed at club level.

Coleman saying that they’re missing a few players is funny, noting that this is a scratch 2nd team for England. In fact, this is just a glorified Championship level friendly, no use to man nor beast apart from giving a lot of players extra game time that they don’t actually need.

Is it just me or is ITVs coverage like being sat in the pub with 3 annoying fuckers gobbing in the background?

Turned out a little more interesting than our first team. A few good performances against a weak Welsh team. Of note, C-L, Grealish, Coady and Phillips, Pope also as he’s not Pickford. Didn’t realise Winks was on the pitch for a while and at least Gomez didn’t, well, do a Gomez.

A background filler of Championship levels, or am I being unfair on 2nd tier football?

I think he was actually born there but moved to Manchester in his early years. His dad was a rugby player.

So did Giggs - he got more points-per-game with the Rags during his tenure than Ole has in either of the past two seasons!
