This is now the problem. If action would have been taken retrospectively (by a group of men), it would have meant that:
a) the lineswoman didn't notice it (a blatant lie)
b) the lineswoman didn't know how to do her job properly (in that it was a bookable offence, but she didn't know)
or c) she was too afraid to assert the rules in a men's game, and therefore needs men to clean up the mess

None of these would have been a good outcome. However, I expect officials will have been directed to 'make an example' of the next player to have physical contact with one of them (male or female), and that'll probably happen for the next few rounds of the PL, as it's now under increased scrutiny.

His arm was clearly around her shoulder - there was nothing in the slightest that could be considered aggressive in what he did - I do agree it was inapropriate and awkward though.
