Equality in football

Aguero puts his arm round the female linesman like we see players do week in week with for male officials and shock horror there is outcry amongst the feminists and soyboys

keep them out the men’s game until they grow a spine in my view, it should be noted that massey herself hasn’t complained however, I am sure she doesn’t give a solitary fuck, it’s people who think they need to talk on her behalf

Partly because it’s City and it’s partly because it’s a woman. If Salah or Rashford did it no one would say anything.

The women that have been added to the pundit team on Sky and BBC are shite. They’ve literally been added because they’re female. They don’t deserve to be there. It’s embarrassing.

Agree with both of the above. Just watched motd from Saturday and to hear their comments on it was expected. Shame they didn't take the same offence and speak up when Saville was grooming kids on their watch the hypocritical bastards

I 100% agree but the look on Aguero's face when he did it, well, I'm sure he wouldn't have looked at Graham Poll like that.

I thought it was inappropriate in fairness. He put his hand on the back of her neck, and that was after remonstrating with her so could easily be construed as aggressive. It wasn’t in the end but still inappropriate and awkward.

It’s a good thing that officials aren’t supposed to be touched as where do you draw the line.

His hand is quite clearly on her shoulder mate.

It can only be construed as aggressive and inappropriate if you are a person who has lost your soul to the ever increasing rise of the ''little, I'm offended by everything, cunts brigade'' that is now engulfing society.

Its a pathetic state of affairs.

No offense.

Aguero shouldn't have done it as it's always better not to put your hands on match officials (regardless of their sex). But I don't think there was any ill-intent on his part.

Massey handled it well, brushed it off and the game continued without interruption. That was the end of it.

Or that should have been the end of it

There is no room for them in men's football.
There, I've said it.

Not because they aren't good enough, because they are, but because shit like this will happen because of this fucking world we live in.

Silly thing to do the end . The female linesman took it well in a professional manner .

Maybe they went a bit further in the shower later ?

This is now the problem. If action would have been taken retrospectively (by a group of men), it would have meant that:
a) the lineswoman didn't notice it (a blatant lie)
b) the lineswoman didn't know how to do her job properly (in that it was a bookable offence, but she didn't know)
or c) she was too afraid to assert the rules in a men's game, and therefore needs men to clean up the mess

None of these would have been a good outcome. However, I expect officials will have been directed to 'make an example' of the next player to have physical contact with one of them (male or female), and that'll probably happen for the next few rounds of the PL, as it's now under increased scrutiny.

If a male official did get all haughty because aguero did that most of modern football would find them a bit of a laughing stock though

Again though I should point out that Massey herself hasn’t made any fuss either at the time or subsequently, though I feel like she might be coerced into condemning it if asked because you have to nowadays - I’m not blaming her or questioning her standards as a match official, I think she did her job perfectly well

Massey took it as part of the game/match and probably knows Sergio doesn't have a bad bone.

At what point should anyone have the right to be offended on her fucking behalf?????

That's right they fucking don't, if anything they are under mining her standing in life.

She's a match official through choice and is good enough to be doing at a top level through her own merit, she doesn't need or probably want any fucknuts talking on her behalf, I bet she's fuming that it's been made in to such a thing!!

Can we get back to discussing what uber cunts Tyler and Neville are?

Typical snowflake answer , always accentuating the positives.

Blatter's comments aside . With the reverse situation, nobody ever had a go about Leggy Mountbatten's Mum and the things she said about the Rutles.

His arm was clearly around her shoulder - there was nothing in the slightest that could be considered aggressive in what he did - I do agree it was inapropriate and awkward though.
