Happy 39th birthday SWP it was an absolute joy watching getting to the by line and sticking in those deep crosses. Also the 4-3 come back against the spuds (I've still got the t-shirt LOL)

I remember when we played Millwall away and we weren’t allowed fans. SWP was class (I think he was playing RWB at the time).

Not only class on the pitch but saved us from going bankrupt as he was really our only valuable asset at the time.

Best thing about it was that it was totally out of the blue. I think an ITK announced it before the media did.

Man City were a working men's club back in those days and we all seemed to love the downs as much the ups...more character around back then...even on this board with our individual attitudes to football....and life - they say you should never look back in life...sometimes its hard not to.

Yes he's quite often on the pre-game/half time/post game "WNRH" social media match day stuff the club does, along with the goat, Dunney, Dickov and others.

That said I've not watched them being honest
