MotM v Sheffield United

Postby Beefymcfc » Sat Oct 31, 2020 2:30 pm

A really strong performance, especially in defence and thought there could’ve been a few up for MotM. Personally gone for Walker, he’s been immense all season, leading the team on and off the pitch.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Agree with Walker. Rodrigo was very good as well but the goal clinches it for Kyle

Rodri, one of his better games today.

And a very special mention to Mahrez, absolutely diabolical today.

It's almost like Rodri has read our thoughts and decided to act on them, he was immense in front a very good looking CB pairing

Cancelo, another good game for him too

Mehrez really needs not to feature against Olympiacos on Tuesday, i suspect that's why he was picked today?

KDB a few short passes, but he's still coming back, he will improve.

But as you say, the goal and another brilliant performance means it can only be Walker who's currently looking at player of the month IMO

Walker who so far is my player of the season.
Tracking back is overrated.

The back 5 all played well, Rodri covered almost as well as Fernandino on an average day. But Kyle's goal seals it for me.

Walker's been fantastic all season but how good is it watching the Dias/Laporte partnership flourish.
Rodri very good as well, always happy him or Gundo- it's just the 2 of them together that doesn't seem to do it.

From KW. MEN Interview 1/11/12 For this club and for us as a set of players in the Premier League, there is only one goal and that's winning the Premier League title.
