Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Did I read that right? Liverpool and London can have 2000 fans from december?
Wasn't Scouseville one of the cities with the biggest numbers in the UK?

Yes that's correct. They went under a mass testing program which brought it down.
I don't agree with fans being allowed back. Why do teams in tier2 benefit from home support when tier3 teams don't. So much for integrity of the league

100% Liverpool fans will turn up more than 2k and force their way in the stadium. 100%
It’s what they do.

Also, fans are allowed in, but not allowed to sing.
What?

Or Fart.
Stewards are cunts at the best of times...can you imagine the total carnage these restrictions will cause !!
The government make it up as they go along..lying to the public and lucky for them , a huge % of the public are too thick to realize they are being lied to.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

R rate down to 0.8 in most of Greater Manchester yet that cunt Boris keeps us in Tier 3 , that’s nearly 6 fucking months of some sort of lockdown we have been in 4 months of that in either tier 3 or total lockdown. The cunt that is the mayor of Liverpool did a secret deal with this bastard government to mass test (guinea pigs) and now the shithole that is Liverpool is miraculously redeemed. Shit show of the highest order and Greater Manchester it’s people and businesses can’t survive much more of this !!!
Not really here
Fuck VAR

Couldn’t be bothered starting a new thread and this relates to the stadium...
“English soccer giants Manchester City are installing a ‘supersized’ perimeter LED display system at the Etihad Stadium which they claim will be ‘the most commercially valuable’ pitchside media space in the Premier League.
The two-tier digital display system, which will be operational towards the end of this season, features high-definition screens that will provide better picture quality even for still images and slow motion footage.
The screens can synchronise to form one supersized pitchside presence, while content can also be mirrored across the two tiers to deliver twice the exposure of a traditional LED system. There is also scope for multiple aspects of the same campaign to be displayed across the two levels, with options for different messages or languages.”
Obviously done for the younger generation who all have ADD. But how much technology do we need at a football match ffs? Give me clapping hands at Maine Road any day.

Further back, how about that strip light scoreboard at the back of the North Stand.
After the ball was centred, after the whistle blew...

Don't remember that. It used to teleprint the HT scores...added a little tension with a pause before each number.
Leeds...1... Manchester Utd...0.
Followed by a cheer.

Did anyone else read this in their heads in an over-excited American voice?
