Your City team to take on United!

XI | Ederson, Walker, Dias, Stones, Cancelo, Rodrigo, Fernandinho (C), De Bruyne, Mahrez, Sterling, Jesus

SUBS | Steffen, Gundogan, Laporte, Bernardo, Torres, Mendy, Foden

@haysworldwide
#ManCity | https://t.co/axa0klD5re https://t.co/6xsGOaHfcL

Yay no Gundo or Mendy in

Prefer to have seen Torres over Jesus but that is a strong line up. Happy with that.

Laporte has been shown his arse it seems but Stones has done really well since coming back in

No Sergio even on bench? Another mystery

Didn’t spot that. That’s really bizarre

Good lineup, no Gundo so that should make some happy but Sergio’s absence is a concerning sign.

I think his knees are giving up on him.

I heard the injury he had to it last, the meniscus, because they remove cartilage, can lead to rubbing that can just cause inexplicable pain making one unable to run or move so well.

I genuinely think it’s the knee he had surgery on and the problem may not go away or will just appear from time to time when you actually feel fine.

I heard I believe Sam Lee discuss this on the new pod he appears on with David Mooney for the Athletic.

Apparently left out for tactical reasons. Not injured.

I reckon his fuckup vs Spuds cost him his place.

Not having that. No way do you tactically not have your all time record scorer on the bench if he is even half fit

I agree. It's a bit odd.

If the real Mahrez turns up I fancy us to win easily.

Someone saying he’s out for tactical reasons elsewhere.

Not even on the bench? Very odd.

I saw the post on Twitter, but also saw someone say the “tactical” reason is really to rest Aguero and also Ake, also not in the team.

Same thoughts.

The tactical reason is that Kun cannot run around without risking worsening his injury so best to rest him entirely.

Mahrez played shite int he last game and his stats were embarrassing....but its good that PeP only plays players who make no mistakes and play well in their last game.

A kind reminder Sterling never scored against this lot since he came here.

Don't think he's ever scored against them in the PL. Today would be a good day to change that......
