The (short) View from the Away End

I just realised how weird this year is when I saw this game was going to be on Amazon Prime, and my first thought was that it clashes with MasterChef. I have recovered from weekend and if I am honest I would like to see a goal fest tomorrow evening, I think we are owed that. Its safe to say that the baggies are a little bit worried

COME ON CITY!!!

Referee: Peter Bankes
Assistants: Ian Hussin, Neil Davies
Fourth official: Anthony Taylor
VAR: Martin Atkinson
Assistant VAR: Stephen Child

And the rest…

Let's hope Citeh play their reserves so we have a chance...… Of keeping the score down to 4.

Write off game. Less then zero chance we get a point whoever we pick.

I dread to think what will happen.

Will be watching this from behind the sofa !!!

I will tell myself to do something more worthwhile, like staring at a blank wall, then won't be able to avoid sneaking a peek after about 18 mins and hoping against hope that its 0-0.

Can't see Bilic making any corrections of his errors so expect the dross to continue.

This game is not about Bilic, it says more about the state of this poxy league and how ridiculously uneven it is and no West Bromwich Albion manager should be judged on it's result…1 in 3 games is a walkover for Pep, yet he's lauded as a genius, which he may well be, but anyone can win a fixed race…No more interested than I would be in Celtic v Dumbarton.

Rest them all for the villa, pointless game. Sums up how disjointed the league is.

Agree with this - we’ll get a tonking regardless. Villa is the big one.

Our performances v the "big sides" have been encouraging whilst against the poorer sides we have been shocking for the most part. Maybe we should be targeting the 3 points for this one.

They could play the WAGS against us and we'd get a tonking!

Lucky for us Aguero has been rested and will be fresh for the game …Anything less than a 4-0 defeat is a victory.

Cheers CM

They could play the WAGS against us and we'd get a tonking! Was my favourite

Cant see the goal fest they are worried about. Be very happy with a regulation 2-0 to be quite truthful

I really think we should put this game in perspective, everybody is getting a hard on for a thrashing, they were unlucky at the swamp, and they have ina couple of games, yes Palace battered them, but that was after a sending off. I think we will win the game but fans need to treat teams with respect

I wonder if he is any relation to the famous Mr Bank(e)s of the Kippax?

Cheers CM, although you left my favourite one out, this did make me chortle..............

Prediction.

Aguero will have a penalty saved by Sam, who will be standing in the net a yard behind the line. VAR will ask the ref to look at it, but because of increasing criticism he will bizarrely confirm the save.

Phew. 0-0

Then Johnstone will bowl the ball out to Austin who will break away down the left wing, out pace Walker and cross it in for Ivanovic who has sprinted the length of the pitch in support to tuck the ball into the back of of the net with his anus.

1-0

Johnstone will get injured, Gallagher will step in between the posts and take the goal kick. He will then sprint the length of the field and head his own goal kick past the flailing keeper.

2-0

Having given other out of favour squad players a run out Bilic will turn to Dicks to shore up the defence and he will help see the game out for a solid 2-0 victory and a clean sheet.

Impressed with the victory, Lai will sell all his assets and pump every penny into the club. All season ticket holders will get a free combi boiler and club members will receive a soft toy replica of our mascot.

Influence will regain their place as our kit supplier for the following season and Barry Cowdrill will rejoin the club as our club shop clothing model.

That's how I see this match panning out.
